1/21
This 1/96 scale model is based on the USS Sirocco (PC 6), a Cyclone class PC. This version reflects the configuration as it stood when I served on her in 2011-2013, with the Mk38 Mod II cannons and Griffin Missile system installed. Initially designed for SEAL operations in river operations, the Cyclone was replaced by shallower-hulled/faster river boats. The mission transitioned to that of littoral patrol in the Arabian Gulf, defending Iraqi oil platforms and conducting Maritime Interdiction Operations. The Sirocco has since been decommissioned and now sails for the Egyptian navy.
I tried to keep all pieces under of 250mm for printing. Overall, this model is roughly 572mm long, 80 mm wide, and 200mm tall at 1/96 scale. Some resin printing will be required for small detail parts.
I have included (in the instructions) some of the running gear that I used in the design of this model. (Motors, battery, rudder tiller construction.) You will find color photos and screenshots from Amazon for noted pieces.
