Blade 2 Beretta Prop - Ron Perlman - Reinhardt

Blade 2 Beretta Prop - Ron Perlman - Reinhardt 3D print model

Description

This is a very cool prop. Carried by Ron Perlman's character in Blade 2, the Reinhardt Beretta is unique!

The files included let you print it 3 different ways:

Plain blade - this is what was used for the hero shots. The blade has no attachments on the sides.

Left holster blade - this is what was drawn from the holster in the film, it has the mounting hardware on the right side of the blade.

Right holster blade - this one has the mounting hardware on the left side.

You can print one version or all three.

To complete it, you'll need super glue, as well as 8 5mmx2mm magnets for the magazine. And a small spring for the trigger if you want it to work. You'll also need some black paint for some bits, and then red paint for the stand.

Assembly:

1- Install the magnets in the magazine and mag well. You can probably get away with less magnets if you need to.2- Paint the magazine and barrel black.3- Glue the spring into the trigger.4- Install the trigger and use the rod to hold it in place. Don't use glue.5- Using some filament, glue it into the holes in the lower section to align it with the upper slide and glue them together.6- Glue the barrel into the muzzle brake and then glue it into the barrel.7- If you're using the holster attachments, glue them to the side of the blade and affix them with the pegs.8- Same for the other side if printing 2 props.9- Attach the blade to the lower section by slipping it into the slot in the trigger guard.10- Affix it in place with the peg.11- Affix the lower part of the blade to the grip with a peg.12- Attach the rear sight in place. You can use glue alone or use some filament to align it. Glue the side grippers in the top shroud and then glue the shroud to the upper slide. It will touch under the grippers and on the front sight.13- Glue the front sight in place.14- To paint the kanji, brush in black acrylic.15- And then wipe it off the blade.

Paint the base by painting white acrylic into the letters. Once that dries, paint over them with red paint. It will make the letters pop more. Then use black paint to touch up any mistakes.

And that should be it!

Printed on a Bambu A1 in matte black PLA, and silver silk PLA, with tree supports and an outer brim.
