Maybe that 5-10 models/month already is not enough for stable visibility and maintain competition.

Hi everyone,
Over the past six months (maybe a bit more), we’ve noticed a drop in our sales on CGTrader, even though we’ve been consistently uploading new models, keeping everything updated, and expanding into different categories.
We mainly create 3D statue/sculpture models for 3D printing, and our portfolio has been growing steadily during this time.
Has anyone experienced something similar?
Do you have any idea what might be causing the decline?
Could it be market changes, algorithm updates, or something else?
Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I can only confirm your findings. Sales have been down in the last 6 months or so on CGTrader and less on other sites. While the reasons might be many, one I think has a big impact is the rapid development of AI.
Will the sales go back to "normal" level? I doubt it. I feel like by every passing month, being a 3d artist becomes less and less a viable option.
one problem is the lack of payment options. paypal has a stranglehold on all things from cg trader. my paypal account was hijacked and because of it i cant buy anything here anymore. all attempts to resolve with paypal has been met with crickets. i sometimes still get an email from them about account statement which i cant access because i cant login. i reply but no answer cant contact on support website because of login issue. cant reset login cause i cant login kinda stupid if you ask me but then i guess its by design.
