Price setting in different websites

As far as 3D printable models go... it is obviously a different ball game. How do you guys price your models? I notice that with regular models I am able to sell them when they are priced in the range of 7 to 35 but I have yet to sell any of my 3Dprintable models.

Do 3d printable models sell better at higher or lower prices? I am new to this part of sales so I need advice!

It is so hard to find that perfect sweet spot where your price is low enough to attract buyers but not too low that buyers feel there may be something wrong with it, especially if your models are fantastic.

That's True! CGtrader does so much more for us as artists compared to any other site I have ever tried. They give us a big cut of earnings every time we sell and the amount of feedback, customer support etc... is really unmatched!

The thing is, I put the price considering the value of the product, depending its rarity and its usefulness. Not how much I'm going to get from it.

For example, if i make a chair, that i feel it should cost $15, I get 11.4 in CGT and $6 TS. If I want to get about $11 in TS, I should put it at $29. Nobody is doing to buy it from me, it's too high for the market.

40% royalties on TS and 80% on CGT - i would be crazy if i'd set equal prices on my models on these two markets :]

I personally set the same price on every website, but here on CgT i take part to the discounts, so, often my models are cheaper on this website, where royalties are higher
