Yeah i was thinking the same (something like petition or strike) But i think they just dont care, Like Nobody from CGTradet team is replaying on these topics. So they not even bothering to answer. I am afraid they just simply dont care at all.

Hey how ya all like new payout rate? And Iam genuenly asking is it still worth it to sell on this site when they getting almoust half of the money from you. For what just because they give us platform which is unfriendly too real 3D artist who create something cuz this site is rushing just to purely pushing Ai slop and we are gonna pay for it. So they can treat us like something they can get money from. But trust me when nobody will wanna buy AI slop and this site will run out of good and creative people because CGTrader will run them off. CGTrader will not have anything to offer for customer, but AI unusable slop.. Well done...

I'm really disappointed with this change. My payout rate started at 60 percent, and through hard work and consistent sales, I managed to increase it to 62. Now, it's dropped to 56, meaning I'm losing a significant portion of my earnings despite continuing to invest time and effort. Existing designers have already contributed to building this platform, attracting buyers and generating sales. We shouldn't be treated as if our contribution no longer matters once the platform changes its payout structure. If a new structure is necessary, existing designers should be protected from having their rates reduced, especially when those rates were earned through previous sales and consistent effort. Please reconsider and take the concerns of your existing designer community seriously.

Yep. And you know what? They don't care. Try getting a response from them that isn't just a boilerplate reply telling us how this will earn us all more money. I don't know what they are smoking over there in their little parkside office in Vilnius, but they seem to have forgotten what the point of their company is, and the reasons people came here in the first place. In any case, I seriously doubt they ever read these forums.

In the old system I had reached the 80% level of royalties. Seeing that 80% dropped to 55% is a psychological hit that destroyed all desire to make new models. And I have no doubt they will continue to keep lowering to 50% and 40% if they want to. This percentage of royalties is unacceptable.
But that doesn't even matter anymore. CGtrader is probably going to disappear in 1 or 2 years, at least in its current form. People will simply stop buying models if they can make them on their own in a few seconds.
The only thing of value that CGtrader can offer is a big catalogue of 3D models to train generative AI. Which is what the have been doing behind our backs in the last 2 years, selling models in bulk to nameless companies.
Probably at some point, they will stop hosting 3d models from designers, and only offer 3d slop generation for a cheap subscription price.
