Introducing new 3D Jobs system

Discussion started by ed-cgt

Hello everybody,

As some of you probably already noticed CGTrader has some good news for designers and their clients. Yes, we are launching new version of 3D Jobs which will provide completely different experience comparing to what you seen before. Instead of simple job listing board we developed fully integrated process where clients can post their 3D jobs and find best designer fit for them.

- Improved presentation and filtering of 3D Jobs

- More detailed information is required from clients

- Money are paid through CGTrader meaning that both client and designer can be sure about fair payment

- Client and designer will have private communication area to exchange files and discuss about the progress

- Royalties for designers will be paid out together with monthly payment for sold models

These are the main points that we would like to present though you can find much more detailed information and examples on our blog.

We are looking forward to your feedback in order tho make this job system even better. We hope you will try out this new feature and get the most of it.

That looks great, things are getting better every day.

Maybe consider to integrate an existing creative collaboration system and have a complete project management pipeline build into the platform. There's allot of information that needs to pass along the team players that are involved in a given project, so we need something that can handle the vast amounts of information in orderly fashion. Maybe connect to something like this (https://www.ftrack.com/) or this (https://www.shotgunsoftware.com/ )?

Maybe you can strike a deal with them to integrate it as a cloud service or something?

Things that also need to be considered in this line of sight are ways to integrate or connect to existing crowd funding platforms (specializing in indie film productions, indie game developments, VR application developments and 3D printing project developments).
