Refund problem due to fraudulent transaction. Beware of this account!!!!

Hello All,

Beware of this account https://www.cgtrader.com/samekmichelle using the stolen card for many times.

We found a refund on the sale summary first time and very surprised that we didn't receive any notification.......

After contacted with cgtrader, they explained that they have to issue a refund for this purchase, due to fraudulent transaction, it was purchased using a stolen card.

We also found this guy initiated a $2000 project with 44 applicants. https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-modeling-jobs/browse/26566-modern-3d-hotel-design-interior-decoration-ideas/apply

Wait.. Are you saying that CGTrader is aware that this account was used for buying with stolen credit card and it was not banned, and continue to operate?

I am not sure CGTrader will ban this account or not. This account bought our model and refund almost 1 month later due to the reason of card stolen without authorization of the cardholder. I think I should report to CGTrader to ban it.

Well of course they have to ban it. I don't think someone can unknowingly use stolen credit card...

The same problem has already been discussed here for 2 months ago:

And it happened again. A refund on a transaction last month, for the same reason: "Payment reversal - no cardholder authorization".
It's a user named "peresoysol"

Fraudsters create new accounts every time, use stolen cards, download our files and in the end, we have to return the money for it.
I think it's stealing our files and I don't see CGTrader do something to protect us.

I don't think you can blame CGT for this mate. It's all the dumb f**** that will continuously keep changing emails and making accounts that at fault. CGT could perhaps increase security but that would most likely put buyers off if they make it too complicated for them. People are lazy remember!

why not blaming CGT? They're doing nothing until fraudster not reported by original author or another user. I don't believe CGT support team is blind or dumb, I'm sure they have possibilities to inspect and filter suspicious stuff, but they don't doing it.

It's true. CGT do nothing if we do not report to them about the fraudster account.....

Also, I came to cgtrader only less than a year and it happened. Instead, I have n’t met a fraudulent transaction in TS for 5 years.
CG needs to be strengthened to block fraudsters as well.

Fraudsters who download our files with stolen cards create new accounts every time. Of course, we have to report such accounts. But it's more about preventing an illegal transaction.
