model suspending before publish

Discussion started by InvisionGraphics

hello i keep having a issue with my uploads being suspended even though my models are same format as previous ones with similar description styles and all details. How do i fix this? before i make the decision to leave this platform for good due to this issue

If you're uploading a weapon type object, they are cracking down more on that. They could be adding key words that used to slip past the automatic agent that sent you model into a review cue....or it could be part of the many glitches that are happening on this site.

oh alright thank you so much for your reply that does clarify some things for me, yes i am using mostly weapon type models which i will experiment further with my wording to avoid the automatic agent while this issue gets fixed, is there particular reasons they have incremented this as i know i am providing the model as described in my description. Regardless, thank you for clearing it up for me and your reply

I meant to type "queue" not "cue". You may be able to avoid the automatic process if you avoid obvious words that describe your model, however, it might be more difficult for customers to find your gun model if you describe it incorrectly. If a customer is looking for "gun" and you put "cabinet", you might not get as much traffic to your model, and consequently, less sales. It's probably best to just describe it as what it is, and endure the wait until CGTrader can review your model and allow it to be published. It used to take a couple of days, maximum to release it, but I have no idea how long it takes now.

Make sure you're not trying to publish the weapons models in printable category - those are strictly forbidden here.

what would printable category be classed as because my models are not made to be functional and printable, i could see a way someone could print my models but they are not designed for that as i do not use calculated measurements in my weapon models- i have been contacted by the cgt team and informed i had links in me description which is correct i did have a link directing people to my email address for any private enquiries, corrected that now on my previously published models and will trying to publish my new models with this in mind to see if it fixes the issue at hand. Thank you for the post and support to resolve this.
