How do i improve my view and sale ?

Discussion started by rahulkirito

hi,

I am not new at this page.

since past year I was only able to get a single sale.

moreover, my models also get poor amount of views.

Is my content poor, or is the price too high , Please tell me about my mistakes so that I can work on it and please give some tips.

feel free to check my meshes and advise me since I have alot of free time to work on my projects.

Thank you

You need to add more words and details to your descriptions, add more relevant tags, and add more models. You're models aren't bad, but they could be presented better. You need them to stand out more with better renders that show all angles of your models. You can also embed 3d versions of your models with Sketchfab.

Try some of these things and you should start to see more views coming to your products.

Thank you for your response, I am trying my best to give as detailed information as possible for e.g zenvo ts1 model. as of tagging and rendering. I request you to give me some tips so that I could improve my skills and sales.I mainly use 3ds max with mental ray renderer to render screenshots.

The amount of views you're getting is well reflecting quality of your works - it is very very low. No tags, better description or more models will help you sell more if you won't increase your quality. Judging by your models it's pretty evident that you lack basic understanding about poly modelling. You have just sit down and learn hard to improve your skills, otherwise you can expect only very occasional sells by pure chance. 3D models stock market is very competetive and it's getting even more competetive day by day. It is increasingly hard to have decent sales even with large collection of good models. With models like yours, there's no chance at all.
Try to look at your models from buyers perspective. If you need good model for your project, would you buy this: https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/car/sport/viper-sti or this: https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/car/sport/concept-coupe

would you buy this: https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/dominatornon-lethal-paralyser-from-psycho-pass or this: https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/sci-fi-gun-03

would you buy this: https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/aircraft/other/quadrack or this: https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/aircraft/private/dji-phantom3-professional

You have to step your game tenfolds if you want to have at least some success in selling models.

My words may seem too harsh for you, but i rather tell you the hard truth, than advising to do cosmetic changes, like adding more tags or better description, which may attract few additional views but won't increase your chances to sell by one iota.

Thank you for your response. I recently joined high school for studying 3d art and I don't have quite knowledge about rendering and alot of stuffs. thus I am learning about modeling and animation to improve my skills in 3d designs.
