Hi All,
I'm thinking of placing an order for a 3D model, but I have a problem determining the price offered. My area is 2D, so I have no idea the time needed for modeling I need. I've tried to look for similar projects, but it's complicated. There are few of them. I only need a low poly 3d model with a nice clean topology + UV maps. I will do the textures, materials, rendering myself. It is a historic building 60m x 10m, 3 floors, which is symmetrical, medium difficulty details. Only photographs will be used as a basis. Do you have for me /as newcomer/ any advice on how to set the right bid and not upset people with too low a bid
or not make a mistake and offer too much?
thanks, JanyHi there,

I suggest you try to find the closest looking model here on cgt and contact that artist via "hire me" button so you can try to make a deal with him/her to make you that building model that you need. Regarding price, more details will be needed, details as: what is polycount limit? Is there interior? Are details modeled or done with textures (details as roof paneling)etc. Artist will tell you how much he/she charge for that kind of a job and you can try to negotiate that. Good luck.
