CGTrader... SHOW! ME! THE! MONEY!
It has now been one full month since the mysterious, possibly mythical entity known as the “cgt-clients” swooped in and purchased a hearty chunk of my 3D models. Hooray, right? Cue the confetti?
Not quite.
Because for one month, I’ve been lovingly staring at the words “Awaiting payment from buyer” like it's the last message my models will ever receive. It’s like a ghosted Tinder date, except with royalty-free assets and dashed financial dreams.
And sure, I’ve read the comments. “It’s normal.” “It’s part of the agreement.” “It takes time.” Yeah yeah, I’ve read the script. But at this point, I’m not even waiting for a buyer - I’m waiting for a miracle.
Meanwhile, rent’s due, bills are due, mouths need feeding, and guess what? The beautiful, lovingly hand-crafted polygons I’ve poured my soul into? They don’t pay the bills. You know why? Because you’re not doing your part. I’m channeling my inner Jerry Maguire here, so let me say it louder for the people in the back:
SHOW ME THE MONEY!

We’re not asking for a unicorn. Just a timeline. An ETA. Something that doesn't start with "in a few weeks" and end with "maybe." Give us a real update - because hope may be free, but groceries aren’t.
This POs fangxiao used an alias jose-a-h to purchase one of my models. Then few min after downloading the model asked for a refund. Had to waitt the 30 days to realise that my file was in fact stolen.
Why don't CGTrader wait for the meoney to clear from the buyer and then have both parties discuss and agree before just giving theives your content for free.
I have tens of thousands of royalty-free models in my possession that I can sell in large quantities. The formats include (3ds Max 18, SketchUp 18, complete with textures). I am looking for business partners to cooperate with.
