Sorry, but ten years ago, you could consider that 10k polys is not low-poly, but I really think it's not the case any more. 20-30k polys is suitable for modern game engines, for instance, depending of the importance of the subject. And to CGTrader standards, at least in their challenges, up to 50K polys qualifies for lowpoly. You may disagree, but it is their rule that matters.
Now, there is certainly a problem with artists deliberately using tags with no relation to their product to draw some traffic to their products, the same way they put tags for challenges to appear in challenges entries gallery, even when their products are not related.
It has been a problem for a long time, but it needs more decency from some artists in the first place.
