A Total Beatdown!

Discussion started by krcnatalay

I have created an account. Uploaded my first model which I think is decent and properly presented. I wasn't greedy right? so I just set a price that would jolly me up a bit. I didn't want to start off with a freebie for it won't show the true colors as I was new I wanted to see the deal.

Then I sold one. Hurray! Motivation is good. Off to the second one. This time I wanted to try something along the lines of "business class" I was into crystals.

So I did some research, see who's got what on their shelves for minerals. I came across the one that's I think is the best and most accurate. It was excellent that I even forgot what I was there for and started admiring.

The problem:

I thought to myself "This oughta cost an arm and a leg." Because a wonderful piece of asset/assets is sold for the buyer only right?

It's only 29 bucks...

If the best one is 29 then why bother? I hear you going "that's not a cheap price." Well, for what you get, trust me it is!

And it doesn't end there. A total collection of guns, futuristic cases, all pbr ready I'm talking 5 days-a-model schedules here. Only 15 bucks!

This is a total beatdown of the market. You run away from corporate life and try to make some bucks on the side and swing by the site to start your small thing
and BOOM. Some dudes are killing it with A class dumping. Now I'm forced to offer the same quality, with even way lower than what I originally had in mind.

Wish there was a place where you're regulated through to make sure you're a one gal/guy seller. I know to make money you need money. So you can hire artists, pay em once and upload for a substantial passive income.

So what do you think i wanna do now? Sure the "bible" says "Nail for a nail" and i need to find unexplored ways or things to model. Well there's no such thing.

The internet provides almost infinite amount of free content, you couldn't even consume it in one lifetime, jet people still pay for things they value.
