I'm still very much a newbie when it comes to making 3D stuff, textures, or animation, but it's fun to play around with. I primarily use Blender and GIMP and create simple low-poly things for Second Life, like cubes and spikey things.
Downloading some free models from here has helped me learn some "do"s and "don't"s just by examining what other people have made. Video tutorials are great, but sometimes I learn better by manipulating and analyzing something. Thank you for any free uploads you've contributed to help people like me understand things better through messing around. :)
