He has scammed me out of 40$ project, always ask this person for pre payment of project. The person stopped replying after I gave him files 3d files for printing. Then I saw that he posted another project for splitting a 3d print after some days, I applied for it and he didn't notice that I was the person he had scammed, after I asked him about the previous project he said he is waiting for his bonus and will pay in 2 days and made a blank project to show proof told me to accept it, I didn't know about the pre payment at that time. I mailed support and they told me about pre payment and only then giving the files. So I asked the person to pre pay the second project which they did, and after recieving the files for the secon project they again stopped responding to any replies.
Thanks for the warning! even so, I strongly recommend that you never, ever send the files before the client has prepaid and finished the project and you have been notified of that fact by CGT system.
I don't know how the rest will do it, but when you go to a store, if you want to take something with you, you have to pay first, right?
And... couldn't there be a system in which once a project is prepaid, and once the creator has uploaded the files, when the buyer downloads them the payment is automatically released? Could be a solution/possible?
Although in reality, I never upload the files here, it takes a very long time, and many times it fails, I use some type of cloud.
well done for reporting the issue ,,, i understand there alot scammers adding jobs ,,,i have started to drill alot questions onthe projecct to the client when applying ,,,,we do have to super careful not jump in feet first ,,, shame innocent cleints means there alot questions fr them to ansswer
