Otherwise I ignore the possibility to pay for model visibility. Some of my models are visible good enough and models which are no more attractive for customers will not get attractivity even if you paid millions of dollars for it.
I really wish there was more clear explanation of when we actually get paid.
I have a lot of money always hanging in the "to be paid" section but only see very incremental actual payments,
and each time of such incremental payment there is a fee charged as well.
And those "cgtrader-clients" are worst. Can take months it seems to get actually paid.
I feel like we artists have no value in this site, just treated as slaves, and now even worse,
we are forced to pay money to get actual visibility in this site.
Turbosquid on the other hand are selling high quality products with higher price. And they treat artists right. I get solid customer support and clear communication about payments. I got several thousand dollars last year when they bulk sold my assets to some corporate client. Lets take a moment to compare what happened here few months ago.
Even though TS cut is way higher, the actual money I receive is still relatively slightly higher than CGTrader.
Having constant insane 80% sales is just so so bad in my opinion, lowering the value of high quality 3D models. And is constant sale actually sale at all?
It is hard to argue that this does anything else than eventually making us artists lose money, while the platform reaps profits.

And why you don't disable discounts in your CGT account? Then you don't have to bother with constant sales (discounts) on CGT and you will get significantly more from every sale.
And you can have higher prices on yout bestsellers and for example significantly lower price on outdated or no more selling models.
I am still wondering why so many artists and studios (even seasoned like Squir etc.) are participating in sales in these new conditions which for me personally would mean lower final payment than on TS. My 70% royalty rate from 50% discounted model mean final 35% from original model price which is no more acceptable for me (and with paypal fee it is maybe 34%).
