No more reputation points for free downloads
Notifications Bugs??????

I just recently uploaded a few models. One of them is this: https://www.cgtrader.com/free-3d-models/space/spacecraft-sci-fi/nyx-class-destroyer. its a free starship model. Now my notifications say nothing about it having ever been downloaded but when i check its stats they say it has been downloaded twice. Idk why i got no notification or if i did even get or not get rep points for that. CgT, please look into it. Thank you.

You still can know who's downloading your models, go there and see: https://www.cgtrader.com/profile/sales#latest-downloads

Yeah, you know what i just realized? perhaps the better option, instead of not giving us artists a thing for giving away free stuff, perhaps there should be a per account limit to how much free stuff you can download ? O_O Is there one already? if so it would be another thing i did not catch.

The only problem with putting a limit though is when you have return buyers and clients who you need and want to share models with. Then if there is a limit it becomes troublesome to share models with them. Ideally clients should contact artists directly and ask permission to download
Well, the simple solution is a coupon code an artist can give a client which makes it so :)

If people reach the limit and can't download free models from here, they are going to download from another website. This reduces the time they spend navigating in CGtrader. They potentially miss models that they may buy in the future and they may get used to those other websites and become regular customers.

That can't be normal, my friend. Cuz i do get notifications of uploading models and as well for just about everything else. Sometimes even the notifications dont clear after i checked them, when i reload the site, the little notification bell has numbers on it again. but it'll all be old stuff O_O
