How much money does cgtrader make per month?

My end goal as a 3D artist is to create a community like cgtrader, where people can buy and sell 3D models.

I will probably never make as much money as cgtrader, but I'm still pretty curious.

I really hope someone could give me a little bit of a vision about this! :)

Creating a website like cgtrader is pretty easy these days, financing and other things are a different story but possible as long as you start small.

I don't know how much money earns CGT. But I know those funds are insufficient for maintaining this marketlace technically: every month CGT works more and more buggy, slower than snail and gives no possibility for working. CGT lies in COMA.

various good 3d artists have tried in the past. then they all closed because it is impossible to contrast sites like cgt or turbodquid, they are too big ... the others are too small. and you must find a good business consultan, t who explains and follows the tax part ... and each country has its own ... see only the VAT rates in europe they are all different .. good luck....

Usually when you see someone shouting publicly that he will soon perform great and bold things, it's a clear sign, that he will not even attempt anything :]

By the way it's not hard at all to open your own shop and sell your models without middleman. The hard part is to convince someone else to trust you with his/her models and join you.
