I can use free models for my commercial game?

In short, you can use free models in commercial games depending on a license, if license is royalty free, than you can, if it's editorial you can't. Be carefull because people often put wrong license on their free models.

Just be aware that some sellers put for free commercial models that they had downloaded from pirate sites.

If such model is found in your game it will be took down and nobody will ask you how you obtained it.
Always double check those with Google - if it looks too good to be free it's most likely illegal.

No, free models are for free projects, but if you ask for the creator of the models if you can use and he says yes than you can
