In my opinion, it is impossible to create an ideal marketplace that would completely protect both buyers and sellers from any type of fraud, including with cards.

In business, it is always necessary to prioritize, sometimes this is combined with the fact that someone will be very uncomfortable, but nothing can be done about it.
Trying to please everyone invariably leads to total failure, so as previously mentioned by LemonadeCG let's leave things as they are.

Despite some bugs and issues, CGTrader remains one of the best for both buyers and sellers.

Payment reversal comes from bank, there's absolutely nothing that cgtrader could do about it. In theory CGT could offer something like seller protection program, but in the end it's you who would have to pay for it, probably in form of reduced royalty rate.

I have seen all marketplaces, from the oldest and now irrelevant for various reasons to the newest, such as FlippedNormals.
And for some reason, none of them have any difficult conditions for paying for models and other content.
Everyone makes mistakes and doesn't know how to run a business or are in collusion with thieves?

Ain't nothing changed. Seems everyone is just sucked into the system now and will let 'the powers that be' not do anything for sellers, as buyers have some protection like refunds. You dont have to agree with me, but its known that when a rigged system is benefitting a select group of people the most, they chastise any other force that fights for fairness against them.

Do you not find contradictions between the requirement to immediately introduce strong suggestions offered by you and the absence of a huge number of same suggestions or complaints from other sellers? :)

Haha. I'm calm. I just dont see the reason why there isn't any 'seller protection' put in place.
It's like a regulatory body prohibiting grocery store owners from checking for counterfeit when customers make payment for goods bought,and even when the customers are caught red-handed, they must be allowed to go free along with the goods taken, while the grocery store owner has to bear all losses insight of taxes, inventory restock, Bill's etc.
Looks like free real estate for real.

You are suggestion to combat a very rare type of fraud by making cg trader implement something that in the best case scenario will do more harm than the actual fraud, and in the worse case scenario could bring down the platform all together by scaring away costumers to other platforms like Turbosquid.

And you think it is strange that people are not agreeing with you?
And what are you even trying to accomplish? this implementations will also hurt you, and it will hurt more then the fraud...

In my opinion, your suggestions will lead to the death of the CGTrader marketplace.

Given difficult times for the entire industry voluntarily to complicate financial schemes, this would be the height of stupidity and simply suicide.

You don't seem to get the point. You've made 2000 sales on cgtrader with only 3 being stolen from you. How about those who barely make any sales and if it happens, it turns out to be a fraud purchase?
It's like a millionaire loosing a hundred dollar bill compared to a homeless broke person loosing the little they get. You dont understand the situation from your perspective.
Customer base won't reduce if they are required to link their banks for purchases. Any one who needs a model desperately for their project will go any length in doing so via which ever new purchase method is implemented. After all, sellers have options of getting paid via wire transfer, paypal and payoneer. Why must buyers be excluded from those options too?
If majority of sellers face these fraud challenges from buyers, how are they supposed to be encouraged to upload more content on this market place knowing it will be wasted effort to thievery and most probably free distribution to others?

Btw dont worry about my files being password protected. It's only for precautionary measures in case of some hack or fraudster wanting to access them knowing damn well they have to make contact personally with me to use them. I'm posted up on other online marketplaces anyway and here is dormant for me so no worries. Just looking out for others who are being subjected to unfair treatments on cgtrader with buyers getting protection and sellers left out in the cold.

Don't be ridiculous. CGT coins and wire transfer would easily decrease customer base tenfolds, not to mention that cgtrader has no legal right nor resources to investigate customers financial history.

Payment reversal does hurt, of course, but it's really rare event and there's nothing you can do about it. I have about 2000 sales on cgtrader and from all those sales there were 2 or 3 payment reversals due to no cardholder authorization. That's a fraction of per cent. I lost less than $100 in lifetime sales due to this, but your proposed measures would surely cost me more than this each month! So no, thank you, but let's leave things as they are. You may be upset when you lose the sale because of chargeback, but if one day someone will steal your credit card, i'm sure you will be happy that such protection does exist.
