CGTrader welcomes Payoneer as a new payout method for designers

Discussion started by eduardas

Hi everyone,

We have some great news for all the designers on CGTrader. Starting today, September 12, 2017, Payoneer is available as one of the payment options on CGTrader.

Payoneer provides a convenient opportunity to support designers from more than 200 countries. Similar to Paypal option, Payoneer will have no payout limits.

Yet, the best part of our partnership with Payoneer, is that all payouts from CGTrader will be free of charge for all the users. Regardless if you are just registering on Payoneer now or you are already an existing user of the service, the standard 3USD transaction fee will not be applied: if you are using Payoneer you simply will see 0$ as a payout fee in your dashboard and no processing fee will be deducted. One important note is that Payoneer charges 2% for transferring money from Payoneer to your regular bank account - of course, it is a regular action for these kind of services.

If you want to sign up to Payoneer account and start receiving payouts to the free payout service, take a look at our blog post, explaining all the necessary steps to start receiving your funds in the most comfortable payout service we had yet. If you have any trouble with your payment agreement, let us know by contacting support@cgtrader.com - or start a live chat with Payoneer customer care at Payoneer.com - if you have any questions regarding your Payoneer account.

All the best!

This is awesome.
Can CGT please add a "hold payments" option, so we can choose when to receive our money.

hi

"Everyone, who changes settings before September 18, will have their money transferred via Payoneer already this month."

What number in this month is the payment in that case?

To anyone who uses both options, paypal and payoneer, could you tell which one do you prefer? I have experience only with paypal, but small research on the internet suggest that payoneer may help to save some amount on fees. If you have any experience to share, please do so. Thank you.

Question to CGT team: did you ever think about adding Paysera as payment option, or its market share is too small to be considered? For me it would be big savings on fees, i would even agree to get payment every 6 months to Paysera account instead of monthly payments to Paypal.

Hi, What you mentioned is actually true, at the moment, we're not thinking about Paysera as an option, as it has a relatively small market share. As for the question you mentioned earlier, I'd suggest trying the Payoneer - or at least comparing those "2% for transferring money from Payoneer to your regular bank account" vs. Paypal payout fees that you receive, as you have enough received payments to calculate the approximate difference. :)

@eduardas, trying payoneer is on my todo list, but i'm so terrible at calculating my finances. I thought that paypal has 2% fee for transfering funds to bank acount and payoneer has fixed $3 fee, isn't it?

Anyway, believe it or not, over those 5 - 7 years when i'm using paypal, i never had transferred money to my bank account, and i'm affraid that when i'll finnaly do it, they'll strip me like an old whore :[

"like an old.. " This is why the payoneer is more profitable for me, since it allows me to bypass the restriction of the paypal - output ONLY to the account bank of the country of actual residence.

If you have missed the fact we mentioned in blog and forum, I'll recopy it here: The standard $3 transaction fee will not be applied: if you are using Payoneer you simply will see $0 as a payout fee in your dashboard and no processing fee will be deducted. One important note is that Payoneer charges 2% for transferring money from Payoneer to your regular bank account - of course, it is a regular action for these kind of services. Paypal though has both payout fees and fixed percentage that goes when transferring from paypal account to bank account. I know that transferring money from paypal to bank can be a bit tough in some countries. :)

@eduardas, you're talking about those fees that are shown in my sales/payment information tab, right? And what about payment processing fees that are deducted from each sale? Those would stay?

eduardas wrote

The payment processing fees will have to stay for the moment.

Hi everyone,

Payoneer have affirmed us that the payout fees shouldn't have been deducted from the payments - the $3 payout fees that were charged will be returned to your accounts.

Hi maestrotov,

Payoneer is finally here! We are excited to announce that Payoneer is now available as a payment method for all the designers to receive payments from CGTrader!

Why choose Payoneer?
All payments from CGTrader will be free of charge, so you will always see 0$ payout fee in your dashboard, regardless if you are a new or existing Payoneer user. Also, there is no accumulated fund limit set, so you won't need to earn 200$ before being paid. The standard 2% fee will be applied only once you want to transfer money from Payoneer to your local bank account.

How to switch the payment method?
If you already have a confirmed Payoneer account, simply go to Payment Agreement section on our platform and change the payment option to Payoneer. Everyone, who changes settings before September 18, will have their money transferred via Payoneer already this month.

Switch the payment method now

Interested in becoming a Payoneer user and changing payment method?
First of all, you must have a confirmed account on Payoneer. Only after the approval, change your payment preferences to Payoneer on CGTrader. The approval process should not take longer than a day.

Register on Payoneer

To learn more read full announcement on our blog.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email our team at support@cgtrader.com

Yep.. Of course СG is not exactly expressed .. Do you want to insist on this? :-)
Of course, if you have a large amount, try, maybe СG will go to the meeting.

Hi again,

I guess the message wasn't clear enough for people who aren't used to the process - what we meant was that the payments would be transferred to Payoneer account this month - instead of having them paid to paypal/wire/webmoney accounts.

However, we didn't really mention that the payment system itself wouldn't change and we planned to carry on the usual business, just with the comfort of Payoneer accounts for those who want to use them.

I guess we'll have to apologize if it seemed unclear to you, it definitely wasn't our intent.

Regards,
Eddie, CGTrader

but what kind of double understanding can there be here?

LemonadeCG wrote

I don't know if you're slow to understand or trying to be smartass here, but if you'd carefully read messages above, you would already noticed that people are trying to tell you, that if you didn't have any earnings in august, you won't get paid in september in any way, no matter what payment method you choose. All your revenue accumulated in this month will be paid to you in around 20th of next month. I guess the main reason why it was mentioned about payments in this month, is because that anouncement was made so late in the month that normally you wouldn't expect it take in action already. Don't worry, you won't get screwed and will get your payment next month, but if you already took credit for a new LCD TV, then try to write to support, maybe they'will make exeption for you ;]
