CAD Design P51 Mustang

Discussion started by marianmadalin32

I want to build a P51 Mustang Replica for display, I have some sponsors here who help me with free materials and services. I want to use the drawings of mr. Marcel Jurca to do the parts and assembly, but the drawings are in PDF, and I want an assumed, responsible, serious volunteer CAD engineer to help me redraw the drawings from the PDF and put them into DXF files, so it can be easily cut on CNC from plywood, aluminium, steel etc… I have some progress on the frames and formers (pictures in private). The Mustang will be displayed for a new aviation museum project I am currently developing. The CAD engineer will be mentioned on the sponsor’s list on the project website.

Is there any other compensation for the CAD Engineer other than being mentioned on the sponsor's list?

It seems like he wants someone to volunteer hundreds of hours of their time for nothing but having their name posted on some sign, or else he’d post a project. Yeah…good luck.

No compensation of course, and i don't blame him/her. As long as you can buy something like this https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/aircraft/private-aircraft/aircraft-propeller for 2$ there will always be assumption that some artist will work for free. (that model is probably stolen but i'm tired of hunting them down)

tobiasrieper thieves ain´t able to make a line in a CAD soft. And without aby doubt this user is completely insane. Also, look below what Jaguar wrote, I´m 100 with him on this.

Well, https://forum.bricsys.com/discussion/37719/cad-design-for-aircraft-project several plywood parts are somehow not particularly impressive.
Where is this New Aviation Museum? If it is planned to be placed in Area 51, then of course everything is clear, there are no questions.

In addition, any progress is also not visible https://forum.dcs.world/profile/146160-marianmadalin32/
Well, unless that fact that after a year all the plywood is stacked.

plywood burns fast because it´s toxic. It gives quite a kick on the campfire but long term it can result i.e. in brain tumors, so...

Well, and some background history about this constructor: https://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/7149-f-14-real-size-scale-model/

Perhaps ask Elon Musk for any spare engineers that would be interested in your project.

After reading the information in the links, I am thinking about building a pyramid. All I need is about 2 million 'volunteers' and some suppliers offering free materials...stones, cutting tools, whips, etc... Donations can be sent to my "Buy me a pyramid" account. I promise to have the volunteers names chiseled to the bottom of the rocks.
