angle of roof and the bar on top

i show the angel of the roof bars being straight however the roofs on slant . should my bars be slightly rotated to match the angle. Should they be straight

What are the supporting elements? I'm not an architect, but I do know that metal roofing must be perpendicular to supporting elements.
