Magic build plate.

Hi. New here, and new to resin printing. I'm getting varying results but it's a skill, and I'm learning.
My build plate is confusing me at the moment. One half adheres nicely to the base layer, like really nicely, like I sometimes need a hammer to clear remains of the print base. However the other half, which has been treated exactly the same, refuses to adhere to the base layers. Every print is stuck well on one side and is hanging off on the other. I have leveled it according to the instructions. I have scored the plate surface will course grade sandpaper, cleaned it with 99.9% ISO, dried it with a lint-free cloth and used a small blow torch to make sure it's completely dry and grease free. Yet this keeps happening. One side sticks very well, the other not at all!
My prep seems to work brilliantly, but only for half of the build plate. Does my build plate hate me?

When people say "I levelled the bed according to the instructions" it is probably true, however, that doesn't mean it was done properly. I have a similar printer and I can attest to having similar issues.
When tightening the screws that hold the baseplate to the frame, you have to tighten the screws in an X pattern, a tiny bit at a time to ensure the screws don't twist the plate. Take the base of the support frame completely and see if there are gouges in the frame where the screws touch to secure it. Also check the screws to ensure they have a flat surface. If there are gouges in the frame, it could result in the screws automatically going into those gouges, when tightening, resulting in twisting the base plate.
When you take off the base plate, turn it 180 degrees and re-secure it to see if the problem happens on the other side.
Check the base plate to ensure it hasn't warped by using a known flat surface, like a metal ruler meant for metal working.

Out of respect for your attention to this matter, I looked for some of your work, perhaps to purchase. You have opened my eyes in more than one way.
I had no idea that 25% payment for the artists efforts goes to the website, which I would call exploitative, and raising that to 35% is scandalous and indefensible.
I support 100% your decision to move to a competing platform and I intend to purchase some of your work there. (huge fan of Space 1999)

I appreciate the time and talent that was involved in their creation and I'm happy to pay what the artists ask, but to learn I have paid almost $100 to the website, not the artists, has shocked me. I was planning on buying more from this site, lot’s more. But now I can’t. Apologies to the artists, I cannot in good conscience support this exploitation.
I have also noticed that the new moderator has censured some content on ideological grounds, doing it selectively, applying personal opinion instead of following stated rules. This is also a red flag.
In the future, should I find the models that I want are exclusively available here, I will endeavour to contact the artist directly and purchase from them directly. Otherwise, I will have to wait until they do what you have done.
Either way, this website, polluted by greed and ideology, will not get any more of my money.
Respect to the artists. Condemnation to the exploiters, may they boil in their own fat.
Please don't be ashamed of purchasing anything from artists here. I'm sure they all appreciate your business. However, there are many artists that have models on multiple sites. Each site has a different commission rate. If you like something here, contact the artist and ask if they have other sites they sell their models at. Perhaps it would be beneficial for them to sell you something they'll make a larger profit on on another platform. Thank you for supporting the community.

I of course expected the site to cover running costs with some small commission, perhaps on the order of 5%, and I was comfortable with that. But to learn that it's 35%, over one third of my payment, is shocking. It's exploiting the artists and scamming the customer. The selective ideological moderation also cannot be defended. Discovering I have been cheated, scammed, fleeced, is the source of my shame. Like I said, respect to the artists. Your work deserves remuneration. But to the individual that decided to increase commission to 35% and employ a 'gender studies' moderator, go stick your head in a pig. You have made this site merely a search engine, and will never see another penny from me.
