I didn't receive any request from buyers to provide STL yet, but if such would happen, i would probably dismiss it - all my 3D print files already contains STL and for conventional 3D models STL is too limited format to be bothered with it.

3ds Max can export directly to STL format. I never had problems with STL files exported from 3ds Max, but if you have OBJ, then you can download netfabb basic and use it to convert OBJs to STL. Netfabb provides excellent output, it can even fix some small mistakes contained in a file.

Yes Lemonade , thanks....but if the product is under $ 10 I have to do the export not CGT. No?
I used ,,CGTrader export plugins software,, but it has errors.
Some customers buy the product and before export file (Contact for availability) STL for example.
All my products are MAX, FBX, OBJ or 3ds file , I do not have STL extension to any product.
By the way which software is best for STL export?

What is CGTrader Exporter that you're refering to?

As for your second question, there are number of software that can export to STL format. It depends on what your input is. Maybe your main app can export directly to STL?
