Hello everyone,
Although I've been modelling for a long time I've not had much to do with 3D printing. Apart from using the stl checker in Max I know very little about it. But like a lot of people I'm sure it's going to be huge in the future.
What I'd like to do is ask what you all think the 'killer app' for 3D printing will be? I sense that things like toys and jewelery are not going to be this 'killer app', those things will be provided by service companies which will always be cheaper than doing it at home. Is there even going to be a killer application for home 3D printing?
You can bet men in suits are currently sitting in board rooms trying to think this out. It would be great if us (artists) could get a head start in making money from it. So what do you think will be 3D printings killer app?
The beauty of being a part of being able to 3d print ourselves is the best part we are the ones with our unique ideas and the ones with the software to make things from scratch no matter what they come up with out there I thinks it's already about that and was from the start
There are many apps that exist as we speak but, it does not deal with the complexed things we can come up with currently.
