Needed good way to secure my SCROG net in my indoor grow tent.My tent is a 2x4x5' with 16mm diameter poles, I am not sure if all tent pole sizes are the same standard between brands so double check the diameter of your tent poles.
They use m3x4mm (x4) brass threads, and M3x8mm (x4) hex screws, each.
The hooks fit 16mm PVC pipe, cut to length. I just used zip ties to tie the SCROG net to the PVC pipes.
These seem very strong so far, I have overtightened them far more than necessary and had no breakage at all. Personally I like to tighten all the screws, then do a quarter turn counter-clockwise on each, just so they are loose enough for me to move and adjust the mounts when needed.
3D printing settingsI printed these in PETG, which I do recommend, but I am sure it will work fine with a number of other materials.
I used 3 wall lines with 20% cubic infill and they seem perfectly strong.
Use whichever print orientation you like, however I have saved the .3mf files with what I believe to be the optimal orientation for strength. If they are printed as imported, use supports where necessary, and brims won't hurt either.
