Uses a thick TPU seal. Food safe material recommended. I used PETG.You also of course want to make sure print quality is dialed in.Looks great printed on patterned build plates.
3D printing settingsUse PETG or other material that is safe for food contact. Seal is TPU.Left and Right handed models included.Print lid facing top down with concentric fill pattern on top surfaces for best results. Also the TPU seal should be printed with concentric top and bottom surfaces in order to form a proper seal.I printed the TPU seal with 2 wall lines and like 15% gyroid infill and it seems to seal well at 4mm thickness, without being too difficult to loosen(which was the case with earlier prototypes that used a thin 1mm seal.)
And of course you want your TPU super dry or it will be stringy and have all kinds of defects that will affect its ability to create a seal.
For the lid I recommend at least 3 wall lines, I used 4 just in case. Also, I recommend using painted brims on the part of the handle that touches the build plate. It is a thin feature that will easily warp and peal off the build plate. Also I found that for PETG a bed temp of 80 instead of 70, gave me much better results with that thin feature sticking to the build plate. And that was even with those crappy patterned sticker plates.
