Every 3D printer knows about Benchy. But have you ever heard of his Vietnam-veteran uncle? Based on the US Navy PBRs from the era, I have created Pibby based on that idea mixed with Benchy's general shape. I hope you enjoy it!
I designed this model around the LK 2016 RC Boat Turbo Jet motor I bought off of eBay. (I saw they're on Amazon too.) I have included a secondary Hull part 3 that does NOT have the cutouts for this motor if you decide to scale it down and/or use different running gear.
For a quick preview and to check printer size compatibility, the following are the largest dimensions from all of the pieces: Biggest Length: 309mm, Biggest Width: 244mm, Biggest Height: 145mm. Fully constructed, the model is overall 634mm long and 244mm wide. I don't necessarily have a scale for it, as it's not based off any real plans or measurements. More pics to follow as I complete construction!
Edit 1: I've incuded a Shortened Pieces folder that cut the aft hull piece in half, making the Biggest Length 232mm for the first hull piece rather than the 309mm for the aft hull piece, to hopefully fit more printers. Now there are 4 hull parts, with the 4th being listed with a and b options for with/without engine hole cuts (respectively.)
