DESCRIPTION

The FCM F4 Version E is a fictional heavy tank variant inspired by late 1930s and early 1940s French super-heavy tank concepts. Designed as an alternate-history evolution of the FCM program, this interpretation imagines what French armored engineering could have become had development continued beyond 1940.

Based on the reconstructed FCM F4 chassis, the Version E retains the vehicle’s imposing proportions, weighing approximately 55 tons and measuring 7.52 meters in length and 2.90 meters in width. Unlike the more historically grounded variants, this version embraces an exaggerated and experimental design philosophy while remaining visually consistent with French interwar armored doctrine.

Its most striking feature is its twin main turret configuration, each turret armed with a powerful 90 mm cannon. The result is an enormous land battleship-like vehicle, combining overwhelming firepower with the distinctive angular armor and elongated hull associated with French heavy tank projects of the era.

Visually, the tank appears like a fusion between the FCM 36, the Char B1 bis and the FCM F1

This 3D model was designed for printing and use at a 1:100 scale, but can easily be enlarged for other scales or for collecting, diorama, or play purposes. Models are for both FDM and SLA.
