I took 3 ED 209 models I found from the sketchup warehouse and rebuilt an Ed. None of them had a good Torso or canopy, so I made my own. 7777773's Ed 209 on here came from the same source ( so you may notice the guns are similar and leg flares.

Sorry guys, the anti-BS hat is on today, someones gotta say something. While people ripping other peoples models and selling them doesn't affect me personally or financially, it affects someone out there, whether it's the original model author or the place the author uploaded it for free in the first place.
I did this thingiverse model for a couple of reasons.
Before anything .. Robocop is one of my favourite all time movies. the new one... not so much, but the original is just such gold.
1. There is a thingiverse member here ***ProCoPrint3D*** who is taking models off the sketchup warehouse and charging people for them, which I think is fairly wrong. He charges for a cut up version of his ripped Ed 209 on his website (which I should add is already cut up if you check the various versions of it.. just export from sketchup to OBJ! ) **This is here so you you don't have to pay for something you shouldn't **
2.I have printed every Ed209 on here and they all suffer the same issue, the canopy is so low rez, you need to sand the hell out of it to get it smooth - well not anymore.
3. I have printed ED209 in a single piece before, not only removing the supports is extremely difficult, it takes a very long time to print.
