Iron Man MK III Printable Suit

Iron Man MK III Printable Suit 3D model

Description

The printed/painted example in the photos was made by the talented Phil Williams.

This is a fully test printed and built Iron Man Mk3 Suit. It has pivoting foot joints, knees, elbows and anything else that can aid in mobility. This will require over 8kg of filament and time and finishing of course.

It has been printed several times now and parts fixed and updated as required. Full parts are also included in their uncut form.

While a detailed suit, it has been made specifically for printing so even a beginner should be able to get the parts printed out without too much trouble.

The suit is scaled for a 183cm Tall average build 180lb/75kg male.

The Chest Arc Reactor is a separate print (included in this pack of course) with LED inserts and is easily inserted into the chest once built.

All parts that require instructions are included in their respective folders which we have separated so you can plan your build easier. Please contact me for any printing or scaling questions. I have been 3D printing myself for just under 10 years now, so there isn't many issues (or printers) i've not had experience with and am more than happy to help you in your quest.

We have tried to price this suit reasonably in relation to the amount of time that was put into modelling it. This is not a pepakura rip like you will find on 99% of the etsy sites or similar, this was made from the ground up (literally as we did the feet first...) and as people printed it, we discovered issues, rectified them and continued on. The files you receive are the end product of all that testing, many bothans died to bring you this information.

Firstly.. I’d like to start with the positive. It is a great model.. and so far everything I have printed has come out brilliantly. I do honestly think this is a great model. But… I am trying to print this out for my little boy. And to be honest I’ve found it very hard to scale for him. I firstly messaged the seller on here about 4-5months ago with a couple of questions (one being for scaling). I waited about a month with no reply. I then came back on here and noticed there was a list saying that they were not getting internal messages and to email direct. I thought fair enough, these things happen. So I then proceeded to email with all my questions an queries. 3 months later I have still not even had cursory “thanks for your email, we will get back to you at a less busy time”. That I would be happy with, I get that they might be busy as 3D modelling must be quite time consuming. I wish there were an indifferent rating as I have given positive feedback purely on the model… but I would add a massive negative due to little (well absolutely zero) support, which is something that is advertised as part of the purchase. (Sorry I expect better for £160 odd purchase)
