Discussion started by bruhq234

When I was download Nissan Stadium https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-models/miniatures/architecture/tennessee-titans-nissan-stadium I opened the model and the textures were not there. I tried the other files and there were no textures to that. I was using blender 2.79. Are there textures to the download??

Perhaps you should contact the artist.

The model in question is published in printable category, so it might not have textures at all. It's a shame that some sellers are showcasing models that are significantly different from what the customer will get upon purchase. In any case, the customer should use common sense when looking for models - if certain model is published in general category, it's quite possible that it won't be suitable for printing out of the box and vice versa - a model published in printable category might be poorly adapted for general usage. That being said, if downloaded model does not match to description, you have right to contact the seller and request to fulfill what's promised, or you can contact the support and ask for refund.

I missed that it was 3d printable even though it said it in the title. Some of the text looks raised, but the Titans on the stands and the field itself look like a texture map. I don't see any parts for this model, but there are two STL files. It's difficult to say if this model can be printed successfully, due to the overhangs and think structure in some places. I know some people would say, it's up to the buyer to figure out how to print it. I think that would only be true, if the buyer had too small of a print bed to accommodate the printed pieces, so they would have to use meshmixer to segment the model. The artist should segment the work into printable pieces where it would be easy to remove supports. It may be, in fact, segmented in those two STL files, however without a picture, there is no proof of that.
