CINEMA 4D Untriangulate after importing 3DS files

Need to use some 3DS files. But when the C4D is turned on, the whole model is found to be triangular, and there is no connection to each other (below). If you want to make some changes or adjustments, it will be very inconvenient.

In fact, in the C4D can be very simple to connect the triangle and transformed into a quadrilateral surface.

The first step, select Edit mode, select the "surface" model. Then click on the right button and find the "optimization" tool in the right menu. Click on the application, so that the triangle is connected as a whole.

Execute the "optimization" command.


The second step, to maintain the model selected state, once again right click, to find the "anti triangulation" tool, click on the application.

Can see the whole model is transformed into a quadrilateral surface.
