Looking for Feedback on Improving Sales

Discussion started by TheBlenderStudio

Hello everyone,

I'm fairly new to CGTrader and could really use some advice. I've been here for about a month now, and while I've been consistently uploading (around three times a week), I haven’t made any sales yet.

My average publishing score is around 7.5, with my highest score being a 9. I’m wondering if there’s something I might be overlooking—whether it's pricing, tags, model quality, presentation, or something else entirely.

If anyone has tips or would be willing to take a quick look at my page and offer some feedback, I’d really appreciate it!

Thank you in advance!

look, i have been around 3 years on cgtrader and i have learned that what you need to do is just to make and upload with what ever price you want but make sure people see it.
then after you forget that you have uploaded something and upload more and more and then forget it again.
a time will come if some one is looking for some products and you have that so he "will" buy your models.
so in conclucion, all you need is to make quality & quantity and then wait for someone in need.

"All you need is to make quality & quantity and then wait for someone in need." Really ? Quality and quantity ? I guess by this you mean uploading 100 copies of the same model as different products, and without reason clog already clogged marketplace. It looks like that you don't realize that uploading same model with different color variation as separate product makes customers angry ? That's why for 3 years here on cgt and with over 500 models your rep is just 12000.

noop, uploading thoese copies was my first experience and i also had a thought about what you said but no, there are some customers who wants/likes these copies and buy/download it. by the way that project was about an year ago and since then i did not had uploaded anything. by "All you need is to make quality & quantity and then wait for someone in need." i did not meant just to paste copies but what i realy did mean was that if you "have" something then people will buy it, and if you have only two or three then i do not think you will be able to make your dream mony. and what you know when i say quality i mean clean mesh, perfect model and your best try when i say quantity i mean to reach more people. if customers can see your products then they can buy it and if you do not have quantity (you can not reach more buyers) then what will you sell.

LOL. Vincent Ménier an example of what can be achieved by having only two models in your stores. https://flippednormals.com/creator/hokaine , https://www.artstation.com/artwork/rRAr5a. Of course now it will be very difficult to achieve this here, precisely because of those who upload thousands of absolutely useless models.
