Is there anyway for author to download his own model (ones with price tag on)?

As in the title. At Turbosquid, we can actually download our own model. Shouldn't author him/herself be able to download their own model on this site as well? If it's possible, how? I just couldn't find any other thread about this.

set the price of the product to 0, then try purchasing, then after downloading reset the price perhaps

Yes it is odd that you need to put your products online for free to download them and make changes.
Does anyone know why the ranking system is stuck?
Also Eduardas, do you know why my models never show up on the main page of CGT? I do not expect my low quality models to show up there but it is quite strange that my high end models like these never appear there;

don't feel dumb my friend, it comes with a risk, someone else might download your product when you have set it to 0 even if only for a short time

I read all the information carefully and actually I have read all that material in past before. Honestly it isn't all that helpful.
I have tried to follow those guidelines many times over the years but it proved very ineffective because there are things I am just not very good at, like model descriptions, tagging and pricing.
Other things I have improved on but it just is not enough. At this point after so many years of being on CGT I would just rather pay someone from the CGT team to do it right on a few of my high end models so I can then copy the process onto the rest of my models.
There is really no point in me trying to figure this part out on my own.
Here's a trick for you. There are few social media buttons next to each model. Use those and your models almost certainly appear on the front page. This works on recently uploaded models only, of course. If you uploaded model half a year ago, it has no chance to appear on front page, you have to make and upload something new.
Without those social media buttons none of my models ever showed on front page.
