I need a quick answer regarding the royalty-free paid models.

Discussion started by sethngardner

By definition, when I buy a royalty-free model, I don't have to pay royalties each use. But I have a question about the usage of the model I purchase. Am I allowed to use the model publically, on Instagram or YouTube for example, and not provide credits to the creator? I just want to make sure I don't break any technical rules or void my license. Keep in mind that I am paying for the models, and they will all be licensed as royalty-free. If you guys can help me figure this out, that would be AMAZING!

You don't have to attribute the author when using royalty free commercial models and you're allowed to "use" them publicly, as long as you do that in line with royalty free licence, e.g. no sharing model files, nor derivative work based on the models.

You can find more about royalty free licence here, particularly #20 and #21 https://www.cgtrader.com/pages/terms-and-conditions
