    Is 2017's unwrap process better than 2016? If yes, why?

    Can be better? I am a veteran 3ds Max user and for me the unwrap in 3ds Max is good enough.

    Yes, unwrap in max 2017 is vastly better than in max 2016. Why? Watch 3ds Max 2017 introuctionary videos and you will find why.
