Full size display for images does not work

The title pretty much tells it all.
Clicking on the FullSize icon in the upper right corner gives just a blank screen.

With Firefox 56.0 and updated NoScript plugin I am able to display images in full size if I allow running scripts globally, but the model upload layout is not willing to show up. Reverting to Firefox 55.03 sorts out the upload problem but viewing images in full size is tricky. And my Firefox is forced to run in sandbox, so another factor to reckon with. Anyways...it seems to be some sort of script handling interaction issue. I use 2 different Firefox now, depending on my needs. Maybe the next update is gonna restore the functionality.
