Cgtrader sneakily enrolls you into discount program!

To be honest I dont mind selling in discount as its like question: do you want one big cake or two small?
I have selected that option and I have 2x more sales. Compared to less sales but bigger ones. Of course it depend on what you sell but still... one big cake or two small... at the end you get the same thing.
People need to remember that its not local sales, its all around the world, so after someone buy your model is not like no one else will buy it, there are millions of potential clients out there, all you need to do is invite them somehow to your "shop" of models, as if they bought one, they will probably buy something else, now or later.

The option to turn it off has now been removed. They also claimed to had to have answered an email about it, but I never received it. Extremely scummy. I had already moved my models off-site, but this makes it even less of a reason to return or even recommend this site to anyone.

This is even worse—it's overriding your decisions! As far as I'm concerned, I unchecked that damn box twice. There has to be some kind of compensation!

just noticed now that i got sales, wtf i never agreed with global discount offer, so annoying!

I haven't. And still, I unchecked it something like two weeks ago (it had been autamatically checked without my consent)

Thanks, I finally found it. I did turn this off when a customer warned me not long ago. I'm really, really not pleased.

This is unbelievable! Also happened to me, while I had expressely turned it off a few days ago, for the exact same problem. And I can’t even find the option on my settings page now! Where is it?

Cgt continues to turn discount on without permission even if you turned it off , just lost model that is sold for 50% of the price. This the third time (since this topic is created) that i have to turn discount off. To me this just looks like cynical cash grab.

Just got this problem too and those checkboxes were unchecked...

I also just found out, one of my model which was originally priced at $130 was sold yesterday for $65 because Cgtrader automatically turned on "participate in sale offs". I remember turning it off a few weeks ago...

I am selling my models for 29.9$, and this is the price I want them to be !

Does this mean I will have to double my price to account for potential sales off I don't want to be part off?

How do we turn this option off?

Yeah. I just found out about this myself, although I found out that the checkbox "Participate in Sale offs and other Promotions" was checked in my settings. Highly unethical behavior. That program was not even due to come into force until March 31st. I replied to their email on March 5th, saying I would NOT be participating.
I wonder what their excuse will be.
