Bug in the Forum Up/Down Voting

Discussion started by everyplant

There seems to be a bug in the forum up/down voting. I got 2 notices that one of my replies was upvoted, but when I looked it had a total score of -2. Similarly, I upvoted someone else's reply, and when I refreshed the page it showed a -1.

This was supposed to be April fool's day prank, but they accidentally released it too early by one week ;]

Don't worry, sales should be unaffected, but i heard the rumours that all positive ratings left by customers, will be converted into negative ones :O

That's probably to be expected after so many Corona virus models were uploaded to CGTrader. They are starting to infect the code of the site! =O

Oh! It's my fault... My "pins against handshakes" was the first covid-themed model here (at least among "printables")... I'm "patient zero"!

At first I thought "why everyone became so angry?"

Funny, but downvotes does not invert to upvotes - i tested it on some random spam message. Whatever you press, the outcome is always negative. Maybe some programer was fired recently from cgtrader and he left a trojan as revenge? :]

Looks like that issue is resolved now. I upvoted a few replies here and they behaved normally. Good observations.
