Trouble uploading test assignment material for modelling partnership (wildcat)

Discussion started by christophorusdedesa

Hello there, I need help with my assignment in Wildcat. There is an issue about naming material for my assignment :

Materials naming mismatch:
expected M_(digit)_(digit),
found M_0_0_8808be98_Mat

there is anyone could help with these issues? Because I have read the "PBR Test Modeling requirements" and have already done the same thing they requested for naming material. Please help me because I have already contacted the system but until now I do not have a reply and still waiting.

How can I fix it?
Materials naming mismatch:
expected 'MI_(letters)',
found 'Material.001'

Material names can vary in different workflows, so make sure that model material names are named according to our technical requirements.

Please help.

Don't Write your UID no Just only right your material name Like M_0_0 only write this. don't add your UID no.

its easy To Fix..
abcd.fbx (Fbx file name)
abcd.Zip (Zip file name)

Change Texture name To...
M_0_0_abcd_BaseColor.jpg
M_0_0_abcd_Metalness.jpg

if you have same textures...
M_0_0_abcd_BaseColor.jpg
M_0_1_abcd_BaseColor.jpg

and don't forgot to change material name to """"M_0_0"""" remember this is "material" name not "texture" name

it took me 2 hours to realize, it's not the name of the texture file. it is the name of your texture in the fbx file.

Did you try to put M-0_0 as material name?

"- MaterialName should be: M_0_0, M_0_1, etc."

Try to put M_0_0 for that material, then M_0_1 for next material and so on..
