!!!PREPAYMENT BEFORE START WORKING!!!

Discussion started by dmndxdesigns

I don't know if it's just me, but when I win a project, almost all the time I'm waiting for the client to take the initiative to make the prepayment, but it doesn't always happen and I am forced to say "HEY, MAKE THE PREPAYMENT". (not with those words obviously) but I am forced to do it, and I don't like it at all, but I can't start the project until the prepayment is made

what you think guys, how you handdle this situation

That sounds like the way to handle it to me. Just nicely request the prepayment so you can begin the work. I don't think there's a need to go further than that, and never begin working until you get the message from CGT that pre-payment has been made.

Yeah but that's the way it goes. If they aren't answering you about prepayment, then it's good thing you didn't begin work because they probably wouldn't pay you in the end. That's happened to me dozens and dozens of times over the years. That's just the way this business works. They probably found someone else or their need for the product fell through, or they were just looking for someone to rip off.

It should have a report button for replies like the one above

they negotiate with several performers , and there is nothing to change . I usually take the first steps , then show and write that I will continue to work only if there is money .
