New on CGTrader: 3D Projects

Discussion started by zlesinskas

Hi everyone,

I’d like to announce the launch of CGTrader 3D Projects: a renewed freelancing platform for our community. Here you will find numerous opportunities to work with global clients, with CGTrader taking care of all legal contracting matters, as well as your payment security, among other benefits.

First and foremost, we have extensively worked on and spent numerous hours at the drawing board to provide a great product usability. You will find that the all new My Projects workspace contains all your 3D Projects in one place. Any project you apply to will journey through three states:

  • Pending - the 3D Projects you have applied to but are not confirmed as a selected designer yet.

  • In Progress - 3D Projects for which the client chose you as the best option and have paid for your services.

  • Archive - 3D Projects that are Finished (and the payment was released), the client initially chose another designer, and similar.

Also, you will get messages and notifications once your application status changes so it would be hard to miss any significant developments.

In our view, CGTrader can become a central hub for 3D freelancing, as we unite a large professional designer community. We offer:

  • Highest royalty rate in Freelancing market (95%).

  • Security - once the Project is confirmed, the money is safely with us in Escrow state.

  • Projects are only in 3D, meaning no noise when trying to find a next gig.

Finally, as this is a complex feature, it is possible that there still are some bugs that we haven’t found. I’d appreciate if you would send me a Direct Message if you come across any problem.

Needless to say, our team will work hard to bring as many interesting 3D Projects opportunities as possible. Make sure to apply!

All the best,

Zilvinas

Hello,

I just want to thank and congratulate you for your good management, mainly in the area of human resources. They are a great team that makes me happy to be part of CGT. I wish you many successes for this and future projects. I have no doubt that it will be like that.

Regards,
Eugenia

On a quick glance, it looks that the same problems that haunted the old system, has been transfered to the new one :/

After looking further into this, it feels even worse than it was before. Everything is messed up, most of old conversations are gone, half of the projects has wrong type and/or status assigned, no sorting whatsoever. It looks like the guys tried to put new skin on a dead carcas, they failed, but still decided to release this frankenstein to the public. Honestly, i'm dissapointed, it's not something i was expected when i heard that job system overhaul is planned.

I think maybe they activated it earlier than planned and that's why there are some details to finish. Also in any computer change is normal to fail something, but we can all help improve it, notifying errors and computer guys will do their magic.

For me, much more important than the tools that can make us, and that in fact facilitate, is the attitude. And that is light years away from what is out there.

Hmm just threw an eye (literally) to it and it may be well-designed, but I do have issues because some jobs I have done and some I didn't have the same "Finished" status and some other issues like that.

Anyway seems pretty good, but you should take a look at the problems pointed by LemonadeCG. Greetings
