I can’t tell if you did something wrong but the product should normally show up right after hitting that publish button, at least that's how it always worked for me.
If something is not correctly entered in the publisher it would not be possible to hit the publish button. Your product would however be saved as a draft and be visible in your ”My Models” section (https://www.cgtrader.com/profile/models), there you can hit actions and edit the draft (solve possible errors) and try hit publish/save again.
Its also possible something is technically wrong with your account, you gonna need support from staff in that case, you can get to them using support@cgtrader.com or use the help button during working hours (keep in mind CGtrader is located in Europe).
