Model Thief Collection

Discussion started by 3DHaupt

Hello CGTrader community,

I found another 3d model thief!

Taoufikamg has upload one of my model to sell it for 5.60$. https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/vehicle/other/...

I think the other models are stolen too!

My free non-commercial models are very good for tracking down these thieves, so I go hunting from time to time :)

Here is another one!

Thank to LemonadeCG for the report!

And here is another one!

You should put proof links to the original models.

Nice : ) It will be a lot easier for support to process these reports when they have proof links.

yassdef04 removed my models from his account and the support didn't had to do something, that saves time on both sides :)

Maybe! Maybe he was manipulated by some social engineers to upload my models?

It's very nice to see how swiftly thieves are handled here on CGT.

He (https://www.cgtrader.com/wordandtherapy) removed my 3d-models :)
But what is with the other models?

That's why you should not wait, but report stolen models to support straight away. It's also not the best idea to post info about stolen models in the forum - you just give thieves a warning in advance, so they can remove compromised assets and continue sell, like there nothing ever happened. Now, if you haven't made any screenshots, it will be difficult to proove anything.

@LemonadeCG You are right! Sorry, I will not talk to these thieves anymore! I just tried to understand why they are doing this! In the end, I was the person who wasted time :(
