I don't see anything illegal there. IMHO, it's stupid, but doesn't break any rules.

But the model can then be purchased at half price?

@stereomanik, it's always been like that - anyone can sell their models with up to 50% discount through price offers.

Ok, I can sell my models,If I have understood so each modeler can sell at half price if asked, and this is what the site does, ask the vendor for a 50% discount, but this can work or not, I can´t see what bussiness is this. The offer button can be found in CGT , so why go to this site just for this? Anyway I see now that it is legal, many thanks.

Do you mean why customer has to go to 3dhorse site to get discount? Well, he don't have to, but if he accidentally, or deliberately goes there and sees advertisement, then he might be tempted to purchase something at huge discount. AFAIK there's no way to advertise your 50% discount guarantee policy on cgtrader (other than posting message in their obscure forum), so some sellers are bending backwards to win every single customer. I already expressed my opinion about such tactics, so i won't repeat myself. Each to his own i guess.
