法律上是不允许的。
@franmarz I'm not sure if I understand you but you can't sell any reproductions or derivatives if you are not copyright holder or you don't have a license for it.
What I say -legally you CAN'T make a Spider-Man model and sell it under any license. Only thing you can is to give it for free under Editorial license.
Also Editorial license is only for use in some kind of an article - newspaper, blog etc. It is very unlikely use case for a 3D model.
But the reality is different and it works on a "you can until someone complains" basis.
Legally you can't sell copyrighted material under any license. That is the essential purpose of copyright.
Owner can always force you to take it down (like FORD did it) or even sue you.
But because these actions are so uncommon most people in this industry don't think/care about copyrights.
Until it's their own property.
In theory, you could sell that sort of models under the "Editorial License", but most sellers don't care enough to check the license type of any of their models/scenes while publishing them, whether they own the IP rights or not, and they let them all under the default "Royalty Free License", which is a shame. Anyone has the right to report any of that products anytime, so their seller should not be surprised to see them suddenly banned.
