Hi!
I know artists like to keep these things private, but It would help me to get better picture of cg Trader market and what to expect. You can also tell me that on private.
I have been selling on other 3d sites and sold for a little more than 10000 in 2-3 years and have more than 150 models. I do not like using sites like Freelancer or similar.
I am curious how much individual hires or offers could I expect in 1 month in I am avaliable for freelancing?
Do you get a few offers a month if you have similar portfolio or more?
Thank you!

I was hired thru here based on the models i sell a few times, they wanted something similar for their website and another for a game. It made me a lot more money than i will make selling my models for a few years probably.BUT, thats obviously not something you can ever count on or expect because you dont know what will come your way.
I think it really depends of the period, of how many models you upload (and sell), your reputation, publishing score, presentation, kind of models you are professionnal with...
For example it s been a few months I'm here I uploaded 25 models and I got one individual hire request, a chess lowpoly pieces set request.
Better you ll be active on the website, have quality models and presentation, better you ll get individual hire requests.
If you're expecting to get individual hire requests just by uploading some models for sale, you probably will be disappointed. I have about 150 models collection here and i didn't received single job offer just because of that. However i do regularly receive job offers from clients with whom i worked before. So you can upload your models on CGT and sit and wait for custom job offers appearing out of thin air, or you can start applying to public job offers, win them, do your job well and transform your customers into your clients. The choice is yours, but don't expect much if you won't make your move first.
