Some of my models were suspended recently with claims such as stolen content, nudity, violence, or IP infringement. After I contacted support, the models were restored. However, some of them have now been suspended again, this time as “NSFW.”
The problem is that these are not NSFW models. One of them is an armchair model. Another is an axe model for a game asset. There is no nudity, no adult content, and nothing that should reasonably fall under an NSFW category.
This makes the moderation process feel completely automated and unreliable. It looks like models are being flagged by an AI system or automated algorithm without proper manual review. When a creator’s original work is suspended, we are not given a clear explanation, a specific problematic part, or any evidence. We are just expected to accept the decision and open a support ticket.(I must say that my support request was review very fast, like in 1 hour my models were restored. this was last week.- I think I was lucks after reading your frustrations on support)
This is not a small issue. Many of us have spent years building our portfolios here. These suspensions directly affect our income, visibility, and trust in the platform. First, seller earnings were reduced, and now original models can be repeatedly suspended based on vague or incorrect automated flags.
CGTrader needs to explain what is happening with its moderation system.
